Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and deliver a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will enter prescriptions, assist with patient registration, and help train pharmacy technicians while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

You will lead scheduling, performance management, and process improvements, while supporting vaccine administration and health services as allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist with patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, and verification where allowed by law.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance management for pharmacy technicians.
• Lead operational workflow, inventory management, reporting, and quality improvements.
• Support immunization clinics, health services, and community outreach as directed.
