Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a high-performing team in our Minnesota locations. You will supervise pharmacists and technicians, ensure safe dispensing, and drive patient-focused service while aligning with Walgreens policies and regulatory standards.

You will manage operations, enhance patient experience, and contribute to business growth through clinical services such as immunizations and wellness programs, all within a collaborative store environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree is required and licensure in the relevant states.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the district where the role is located.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients to ensure a positive experience and answer questions about medications, safety, and availability.
• Counsel on drug interactions, side effects, and proper usage while protecting patient privacy.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management tasks.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, staff scheduling, and process improvements to ensure compliant and efficient service.
• Lead staff development through training, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Foster collaboration with the Store Manager to expand health services and community outreach.
