Job summary

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and operations.
Experience with pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.

Responsibilities

Counsel patients on medication usage, interactions, and safety.
Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in compliance with laws and policies.
Oversee pharmacy workflow, staff scheduling, and performance reviews.
Develop relationships with local medical providers and promote health services.
