Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of state/federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions and OTC products; refers to providers when needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications; ensures regulatory and policy compliance.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, staffing, scheduling and training to optimize performance.
• Delivers immunizations, diagnostic testing and wellness services; supports patient outcomes.
