Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the district states.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.
1+ year pharmacy experience including dispensing, records, and billing.
Experience following state and federal controlled substances laws.
Leadership performance history without significant disciplinary action.

Responsibilities

Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions and safety.
Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and management.
Review, interpret and dispense prescribed medications per regulations.
Ensure pharmacy operations comply with policies and manage scheduling and roles.
Enforce Good Faith Dispensing and regulatory procedures.
Collaborate with Store Manager on new business opportunities.
Maintain pharmacy IT systems knowledge and support staff.
Process insurance claims and address third-party audits.
Facilitate immunizations and diagnostic/wellness services.
