Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in the United States to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing, and drive patient-centered services. The role emphasizes staff coaching, regulatory adherence, and service excellence.

You will oversee workflow, inventory, and performance while collaborating with store leadership to expand clinical offerings such as immunizations and wellness programs. This position requires a valid pharmacist license and a track record of effective team

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.
Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and drug safety.
Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, verification, and medication management.
Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications with regulatory compliance.
Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and shift changes for efficiency.
Maintains relationships with medical staff and promotes health services to patients.
