Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Bolingbrook, IL to lead site operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive performance and Lean initiatives. You will manage daily workflows, evaluate orders, and develop staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a PharmD or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, active IL license, and experience with performance metrics. Expect a dynamic, fast-paced environment with focus on patient safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Active/Good Standing Pharmacist license in Illinois
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
• 1 year Staff Pharmacist experience within Amazon Pharmacy
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, performance and customer experience of operations
• Manage daily site operations and CPT times for same-day deliveries
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and suggest therapy changes as needed
• Set expectations for employees and monitor performance
• Educate staff on policies and reporting guidelines
• Lead Lean initiatives to meet or exceed operating plans
• Coordinate with legal to maintain licensure and ensure compliance with boards
