Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy in Utah is seeking a Pharmacy Manager. The role oversees operations, safety, and quality with hands-on involvement in dispensing and patient care.

You will lead a small team of technicians and pharmacists, ensuring compliance and efficient prescription fulfillment. The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or PharmD-equivalent, active pharmacist license in the domicile state, and has experience in Lean initiatives and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in all states requiring Non‑resident PIC.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of Pharmacist in Charge or Staff Pharmacist within Amazon experience.
• Active/Good Standing Pharmacist license in domicile state.
• Strong communication skills, ability to analyze, problem-solve and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, and customer experience of pharmacy operations.
• Manage daily operations to meet delivery times in partnership with facilities and transportation.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and provide therapy recommendations as needed.
• Coach and develop staff to meet high performance standards.
• Educate staff on policies and guidelines and drive Lean initiatives.
• Oversee licensure and compliance with state boards and accrediting bodies.
• Maintain patient profiles with current medical history and medications.
• Perform pharmacist verifications and oversee dispensing processes.
