Job summary

Kroger Co. (Fry's Food Stores) is seeking a Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy team and ensure compliant, customer-focused service at the Miami, AZ location. You will manage budgeted labor, inventory, and pricing while implementing clinical services and public health initiatives.

The role requires a Pharm.D. or US-accredited PharmD/Bachelor, 2+ years in retail pharmacy, and licensed status. Expect challenging, fast-paced work with opportunities for growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Pharm.D. from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
2+ years related retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 21 years of age, license in good standing.
Proven leadership skills; ability to read/interpret prescriptions and documents.
Commitment to excellent customer service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model leadership for the pharmacy team.
Develop and promote sales plans and division initiatives as directed by the pharmacy department.
Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
Monitor third-party profitability and handle insurance issues promptly.
Schedule staff to control labor costs and ensure coverage.
Maintain all records required by law and company policies.
Support public health initiatives and disease state management services.
