Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee all aspects of the pharmacy practice, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and corporate policies.

You will manage the pharmacy budget, train staff, optimize pricing and inventory, and deliver excellent customer service while implementing clinical services. Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited U.S. school (Pharm.D. or B.Pharm).
• 2+ years of related retail pharmacy experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model leadership for the pharmacy team.
• Develop, implement, supervise, and promote the sales plan and other sales initiatives.
• Direct the pharmacy team to achieve budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Monitor third-party profitability; handle third-party problems and audits promptly.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs and maintain proper staffing levels.
• Maintain all pharmacy records required by state and federal laws and company policies.
• Promote and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management services.
