Job summary

Kroger Health is seeking a pharmacist leader to manage all aspects of pharmacy practice within state and federal laws, and corporate policies. You will oversee the pharmacy department's financial performance, inventory, staffing, and customer service, while promoting clinical services and public health initiatives.

The role requires a PharmD or equivalent, retail experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to confidentiality and continuous education.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and/or PharmD from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
2+ years related retail experience or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum 21 years of age.
Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training.
Ability and willingness to continue education as necessary.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model the pharmacy team; handle customer complaints and reduce customer wait times.
Develop, implement, supervise, and promote the sales plan and other sales initiatives as developed by the division pharmacy department.
Perform duties required of a registered pharmacist and comply with legal and company requirements.
Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
Promote, implement, and participate in public health initiatives and disease state management services.
Schedule all pharmacy staff to control labor costs.
