Job summary

Kroger Health is seeking a pharmacist to oversee all aspects of pharmacy practice in compliance with state and federal laws and corporate policies. The role focuses on financial performance, budget management, staffing, pricing, inventory, and clinical services while delivering exceptional customer service in a retail setting.

Lead the pharmacy team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive patient-centered care through high-quality service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from a US accredited school.
• 2+ years of related retail pharmacy experience (or equivalent).
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Participation in clinical programs following company-sponsored training.
• Ability to pursue ongoing education as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Proven leadership skills; license must be in good standing.
• Equivalency of education/experience in business management.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model leadership for the team; address customer concerns and streamline workflow.
• Develop, implement, supervise, and promote sales initiatives as defined by the division pharmacy department.
• Fulfill duties required of a registered pharmacist and comply with laws and company policies.
• Direct the pharmacy team to optimize warehouse utilization, prevent overstock, and ensure proper ordering and record keeping.
