Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Leader in Washington (Kent) to supervise a 10-25 person team within Pharmacy Operations. Responsibilities include staffing, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer needs and budget targets.

The role requires a PharmD or Doctor of Pharmacy, active license in domicile state and multiple state licenses, and ability to work at the Amazon Pharmacy facility. Competitive base salary with RSUs and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in domicile state.
• License in at least 8 of 17 US states for redundancy.
• Non-resident PIC license or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 10-25 direct reports within Pharmacy Operations and drive department performance.
• Decide independently when possible and align stakeholders where needed.
• Improve efficiency by planning and implementing processes and procedures.
• Interview, hire, and train team members in partnership with Recruiting and HR.
• Mentor team members and provide growth opportunities.
• Manage performance and accountability of department staff.
• Identify improvement opportunities from data and perform root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with product and other leaders to remove roadblocks and drive roadmaps.
• Ensure staffing, hiring, and scheduling meet goals and budget.
