Job summary

Vaccines and health screenings may be offered where permitted by law. The role emphasizes workflow efficiency, training & performance management of technicians, and adherence to Good Faith Dispensing practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and verification under supervision.
• Administer vaccines and health services allowed by law.
• Delegate, direct, and assign non-clinical work to technicians while ensuring workflow efficiency.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
