Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will help with patient registration, data entry, and ensuring efficient workflow to deliver a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under supervision.
• Delegate, direct and manage non-clinical tasks to support staff and ensure compliance.
