Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, administrative tasks, and deliver a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision you will handle prescription data entry, patient registration, and medication preparation, with vaccine administration where allowed by law, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Completes patient and physician calls under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Under supervision, assists with healthcare services including vaccines and health screenings.
• Delegates and assigns non-clinical work in the pharmacy while adhering to policies and laws.
• Prepares, files reports and records required by the company and government agencies.
