Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and deliver a positive patient experience. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and lead technician training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and assisting with vaccines and health services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Count, verify, and dispense medications under supervision while ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Lead and train pharmacy technicians; manage scheduling, performance, and discipline as needed.
• Help resolve customer questions and concerns to ensure a positive pharmacy experience.
• Support inventory management, data reporting, and adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
