Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support daily non-clinical and administrative pharmacy operations. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle patient registration, data entry, prescription handling, and various healthcare services including vaccines where allowed by law.

You will lead technician training, performance management, and scheduling, while ensuring regulatory compliance, inventory management, and secure operations in a customer-centric environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, data entry, preparation and verification of prescriptions.
• Administer vaccines and health services where allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Manage inventory and annual inventory preparation; ensure secure and compliant operations.
