Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification must be active in the applicable jurisdiction.
• At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; strong communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care including registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Process prescriptions and support non-clinical activities under pharmacist supervision; help with vaccines and health services where permitted by law.
• Lead technician scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure efficient pharmacy operations and compliance with regulations.
