Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, licensed Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under a pharmacist’s supervision. You will assist with patient registration, data entry, prescription processing, vaccine and health service roles where allowed, and inventory management.

You will lead training and performance management for technicians, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while maintaining a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care tasks including registration, prescription data entry, preparation, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Delegate and oversee non-clinical work within policy, and manage scheduling and daily activity planning for the team.
