Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support a busy community pharmacy. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle registration, data entry, and medication preparation, while ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will lead technician training and performance management, coordinate with store leadership, and support vaccines, health screenings and other services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Process prescriptions under supervision of a pharmacist; perform non-clinical tasks; participate in health services where allowed by law.
• Lead training and performance management of technicians and support staff.
