Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure a smooth workflow. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle prescription data entry, patient registration, and medication preparation while upholding company policies and ethics.

You will engage with customers to deliver a positive experience, assist with vaccination services where allowed, and contribute to inventory and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Support preparation and verification of medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and accurate records.
