Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to review medication lists, coordinate MTM interventions, and support members with refills and access to medications. You will collaborate with pharmacists and community pharmacies to improve adherence and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and national certification or equivalent license. Bilingual skills and MTM certification are preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient communication and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication and medication related issues
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed Pharmacy Technician
• Bilingual skills (preferred)
• Medication Therapy Management Certificate (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to improve adherence and prevent adverse events
• Facilitate refills and new prescriptions and coordinate access to medications
• Coordinate MTM interventions with pharmacists and partners
• Monitor member medication adherence with community pharmacies
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence
• Handle communications with members and providers by phone or in person as needed
• Perform additional duties as necessary
