Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician focused on medication therapy management to improve patient adherence and coordination of care. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists on medication issues.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/NHA) or licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to identify barriers and support adherence as Pharmacy Navigator.
• Facilitate refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and financial access to medications.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst Pharmacists and partners.
• Monitor member medication adherence with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone or in person when needed.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
