Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented Systems Analyst with a Pharmacy Technician background to join its Clinical Systems team. You will help design, build, configure, test, and support Epic Willow modules and other pharmacy systems, bridging pharmacy operations and IT to ensure safe medication management.

The role requires active pharmacy licensure, a related degree, and 1+ year of health-system pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in CS, Health Informatics, MIS, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related fields.
At least 1 year of health system pharmacy experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Experience with healthcare information systems and EHR configurations.
Preferred: Epic Willow certification or proficiency.
Experience with automated dispensing systems (Omnicell, Pyxis) and IV pumps.

Responsibilities

Build, configure, test, and support Epic Willow modules (Inpatient, Ambulatory, Specialty Pharmacy) and other pharmacy systems.
Provide daily technical and operational support for pharmacy applications; act as primary contact for staff.
Participate in testing fixes, upgrades, and version changes with minimal disruption.
Collaborate with pharmacy managers, pharmacists, and IT leadership to optimize workflows for safety and productivity.
Maintain technical docs, work plans, and training materials; support end-user training.
