Job summary

This role focuses on designing, building, configuring, testing, and supporting Epic Willow modules and other pharmacy systems, acting as a bridge between pharmacy operations and IT to optimize workflows.

The ideal candidate brings active CPhT or Florida tech license, 1+ year health-system pharmacy experience, and proficiency with health IT and EHRs, plus knowledge of

Qualifications

• Active CPhT or Florida-registered Pharmacy Technician license.
• 1+ year health system pharmacy experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in CS, Health Informatics, MIS, Pharmaceutical/Life/Biomedical Sciences, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with healthcare information systems and EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, test, and support Epic Willow modules (Inpatient, Ambulatory, Specialty Pharmacy).
• Bridge frontline pharmacy operations and IT to ensure safe, efficient medication management workflows.
• Provide daily technical and operational support for pharmacy applications and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in testing software fixes, upgrades, and implementation with minimal disruption.
• Maintain technical documentation, work plans, and staff training on Willow functionality.
