Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Optum unit seeks a Pharmacy Information Systems Specialist for a full-time field-based role in the Greater Boston area. This position requires travel to multiple locations and occasional overtime with a standard 8:00 am–6:00 pm schedule.

You will support pharmacy information systems, assist in planning, testing, training, and implementing Epic Willow Ambulatory and EnterpriseRx, and collaborate with operations, clinical staff, and IT to optimize workflows and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPhT certification required.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience in healthcare/pharmacy operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports pharmacy information systems, data maintenance, reporting and user support.
• Assists with planning, testing and implementation of pharmacy technology initiatives (EnterpriseRx, Epic Willow Ambulatory).
• Collaborates with pharmacy leadership, operations, vendors and IT to optimize workflows and systems.
• Travel to assigned offices in your market as needed (16 locations).
