The role requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program and a state-specific Pharmacy Intern License, along with strong communication and organizational skills to assist patients, manage inventory, and perform third-party adjudication under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Customer service.
• Communicating with patients in person and via telephone; assisting patients with product selection; obtaining medication prices (internally and from competitors) per patient requests.
• Processing and filling prescriptions.
• Using pharmacy computer system for prescription data entry and third-party adjudication; pulling products from the shelf; labeling prescriptions at fill station; receiving new prescriptions at Will Call.
• Third-party functions.
• Inventory management.
• Updating balance on hand; product ordering; Meijer codes lookup; managing orders and transfers; processing vendor charge backs.
• Clinical services.
