Meijer Inc. Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, process and fill prescriptions, and assist with third party functions. You will manage inventory and participate in clinical services under pharmacist supervision.

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service.
• Communicating with patients in person and via telephone; assist with product selection; obtain medication prices.
• Processing and filling prescriptions.
• Using pharmacy computer system for prescription data entry & third party adjudication; pull products; label prescriptions.
• Receiving new prescriptions from patients; selling prescriptions at Will Call.
• Third-party functions.
• Inventory management.
• Updating balance on hand; product ordering; Meijer codes; handling orders and transfers.
• Clinical services; health screening tests and MTM when trained and allowed.
