Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and patient care under supervision. You will help manage inventory, perform third-party adjudication, and assist with clinical services as you gain experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Requirements include enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school and a state-specific Pharmacy Intern License, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).

• Neat and legible penmanship; organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions; perform third party adjudication.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and inventory tasks.
• Manage inventory, balance on hand, and process vendor charges/transfers/salvage.
• Support clinical services and patient care functions as trained.
