Job summary

Meijer Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, process and fill prescriptions, and assist with third party functions.

You will work with inventory management and clinical services under pharmacist supervision, while advancing your pharmacy education and patient care skills. Enrolled students with a state-licensed intern permit are preferred, with strong communication, organizational abilities and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship; organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients in person and by phone.
• Process and fill prescriptions; use pharmacy computer systems for data entry and third-party adjudication.
• Assist with inventory management and balance on hand; support clinical services when applicable.
