Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in CVS retail locations, applying didactic learning to real-world practice and preparing for future pharmacist responsibilities.

You will follow a structured training roadmap, complete KLEs, and work under a licensed pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate prescription handling and exceptional patient service. This role emphasizes empathy, compliance, and growing clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy teams to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Assist with immunization support and customer service within SOPs.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service and escalate issues to pharmacists when needed.
• Learn and apply SOPs, participate in training roadmap and gain leadership insights.
