Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations, applying didactic learning to real‑world practice under a preceptor. You will participate in a structured training roadmap, learning SOPs, ensure accurate dispensing, and deliver caring service to patients.

As an intern, you will gain hands‑on experience across store operations, while maintaining high standards for patient safety, compliance, and interprofessional communication.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on core learning experiences.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety in all interactions.
• Provide immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by state regulations.
• Support inventory activities and coaching of team members as directed by leadership.
