Job summary

CVS Health is actively seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail stores. You will work under a preceptor to learn store, district, and regional operations while gaining hands-on experience.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescriptions, follow standard SOPs, and develop patient-centered care. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and empathy.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive training roadmap including KLEs across pharmacy operations.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate, timely prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and support immunizations and patient counseling as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered service and comply with laws and regulations.
