Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice, under a preceptor. You’ll support pharmacy teams, learn store, district, and regional operations, and gain hands-on experience with SOPs, patient care, and team collaboration.

The role emphasizes empathy, safety, and quality patient service while preparing you for advancing to a Pharmacist position through a structured training roadmap and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE‑accredited pharmacy program.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Assist with immunizations, counseling and patient interactions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs and maintain compliance with laws, regulations and CVS policies.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive culture while learning store operations and leadership expectations.
• Complete training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences and learn from district, store and regional leaders.
