Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, and learn store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive training roadmap with Key Learning Experiences (KLEs).
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Provide empathetic, patient-focused service and address patient questions.
• Support immunizations and other patient care services where allowed.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed.
