Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world practice within our retail pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap, contributing to safe, efficient prescription fulfillment and patient care across stores.

You will gain hands-on experience with SOPs, patient interactions, and expanded roles while supporting immunizations and clinical services as permitted by law, in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and customer service.
• Support immunization workflows and patient care activities where allowed by state law.
• Learn and apply SOPs, policies and procedures under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs as directed.
