Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning from pharmacy school in real-world practice under a preceptor, with a training roadmap that shows what it's like to be part of a pharmacy team while gaining an overview of store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, follow SOPs, and demonstrate empathy and patient-centered care, including immunizations and other services where

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to a safe, inclusive customer experience.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by state law.
