Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within our retail pharmacies. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, completing a structured training roadmap that covers KLEs, medical consultations, and clinical operations.

In this role you’ll support pharmacists in filling prescriptions, counseling patients when appropriate, and participating in immunization services where allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
• Follow SOPs and demonstrate empathy and care in all patient and colleague interactions
• Deliver immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs when required
