CVS Health in California is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply school learning to real-world practice under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist, preparing for a Pharmacist role.

You will follow a structured training roadmap, assist with dispensing, immunizations, counseling, and patient care, and learn store, district, and regional operations while delivering compassionate service. This part-time internship offers hands-on experience with SOPs and a culture of continuous improvement.

Formación

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in following SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Support pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and help patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients and collect medical history information when appropriate under supervision.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient services as trained and permitted by law.
• Engage in inventory tasks and participate in ongoing coaching and mentoring.
