Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings within our retail stores. You’ll follow a structured training roadmap, work under a licensed pharmacist, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by following all SOPs at each workstation to support Pharmacists and Technicians in patient care.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and with empathy.
• Counsel patients, gather relevant medical history when appropriate under supervision.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions and clarifications under state regulation.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed and trained.
• Maintain inventory activities and promote a safe, inclusive culture.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure
