Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in a pharmacy team environment and a training roadmap that covers SOPs, patient care, and cross-store exposure.

You will assist in ensuring prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, contribute to a caring service culture, and learn through interactions with leaders across the district and region.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentration on tasks, pivot between tasks, ensure label accuracy and patient safety.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues with clear, effective communication.
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math to determine days supply and quantities.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions appropriately.
• Physical Demands: be mobile and capable of lifting and moving items as required.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Intern and/or technician licensure as required
