Job summary

CVS Health invites applications for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in our retail pharmacies. You will apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap that covers KLEs, operations at store, district, and regional levels, and hands-on experience supporting the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions safely and promptly.

You will learn SOPs, engage in counseling, immunizations, and other services as allowed by state law, while fostering empathy,

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy must be enrolled or accepted
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Demonstrate customer service and teamwork
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Handle prescriptions with accuracy and safety
• Support inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed

Education
