Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within our retail pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor's guidance, you’ll follow a structured training roadmap, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to safe, compassionate patient care while preparing for pharmacist responsibilities.

You will learn to operate as part of a pharmacy team, adhere to SOPs, and support immunizations and other services across store operations.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment or admission in ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Complete training roadmap with KLEs to build clinical and technical knowledge.
• Assist in immunizations, point-of-care testing, and patient counseling as allowed by law.
• Maintain accuracy in prescription processing and patient safety, following SOPs.
