Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program in our retail pharmacies. You’ll apply classroom learning to real-world patient care, under a pharmacist preceptor, and follow a structured training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations.

You’ll support immunizations, counseling, prescription processing, and collaboration with the pharmacy team while gaining hands-on experience and exposure to SOPs and patient services in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and support immunization services where allowed by law.
• Assist with inventory, order processing, and maintaining patient safety and privacy.
• Demonstrate empathy, effective communication, and a professional team orientation.
