Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice, under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. You'll contribute to pharmacy operations, ensure timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, and learn about store and regional operations through a structured training roadmap.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Active intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to learn SOPs and adapt to a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Provide caring service and maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Counsel patients and answer questions under supervision.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
• Learn and follow store SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Travel to other market stores as needed.
