Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under a preceptor, you will follow a structured training roadmap to understand store, district, and regional operations while delivering safe, accurate patient care.

You will gain hands-on experience through KLEs, SOPs, and mentorship, contributing to empathetic patient interactions and a collaborative pharmacy team culture.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college/school enrollment or active participation required.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist pharmacists and technicians in safe, accurate patient care.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescriber when allowed by state regulations.
• Assist with inventory tasks including cycle counts and returns-to-stock.
