Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams in CVS retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, participate in a structured training roadmap, and help ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service for patients.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations and patient counseling, and supporting the pharmacy team while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern/licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate dispensing.
• Support immunizations, patient counseling, and telephonic prescription coordination when allowed.
• Demonstrate empathy, patient service, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.
