Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in retail locations, applying didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor. You will follow SOPs, learn through a structured roadmap, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met.
• Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly and accurately.
• Provide empathetic, caring customer service at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and phone interactions.
• Counsel patients and obtain necessary medical information under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Perform inventory tasks and support training and mentoring of teammates.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and privacy.
