Job summary

CVS Health's 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy, pairing didactic learning with real-world daily tasks under a licensed pharmacist.

You'll support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, timely prescription filling, provide empathetic patient care, and participate in immunization services and other clinical activities in a fast-paced store environment across the market.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or enrolled in ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Willing to travel across stores in the market as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide patient service at pickup, drive-thru and over the phone.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state law.
• Maintain high attention to SOPs and participate in training milestones.
